Good to know
- The building inspection (ITE) is regulated by each Spanish region and town hall: it is not required in the same way everywhere. We check whether and when your building needs it.
- Catalonia: the IITE (Decree 67/2015) applies to residential buildings from 45 years old. Madrid region: buildings over 30 years old (Law 9/2001, art. 169).
- Visual inspection only, without opening anything up or testing unless agreed beforehand.

A competent chartered technician: architect, building surveyor or engineer, depending on your region.
